Malcolm Mounter

Malcolm joined East African Airways in October 1961 on the Dakotas. He continued to fly as Captain on the F27s, the Comet IV and finally the SVC10s. I (Jerry) only flew with him once as we shared command on 5H-MMT, SVC10, on December 4th 1972.

Malcolm resigned in 1973 and went South, to his home with Pat and  his daughter Lois. He flew for Safair until retiring in 1995, to his three loves, Pat Lois and Golf. He continued to play very good golf until he was 89 years old and playing to his age.

He passed away peacefully on Friday 21st March 2025 aged 92! RIP MALCOLM
