Fokker Friendship

One of the so-called ‘DC-3 replacement’ aircraft produced by the dutch Fokker company in the late 1950s onwards.

Powered by two Rolls-Royce Dart turbines, it was a popular aircraft for up to 36 passengers and/or freight. Chosen by EAA over the comparable HP Herald and Avro 748, it served the airline well from 1962 to it’s demise in 1977. Span of 95 foot and length of 73 foot
