Edward (Ted) Alleyne
Sad to inform you that Edward (Ted) Alleyne, former EAA Captain, has passed away at the age of 95 in his Kilifi home in Kenya last week.
Our thoughts are with his wife Sue and daughter Angela.

'Fly among friends'
I was a meteorologist at Dar es Salaam airport from March 1962 to June 1964, with a few months at Embakasi in 1963 and have fond memories of many of the EAA aircrew. We used to drink together at the Kinondoni hostel where we all stayed. I recall Tommy Turk, John Broomfield and particularly Anita Cathless; alas other names have faded from my memory.
