My father, Capt. W.M. (Andy) Anderson joined EAA immediately after WWII in 1946 and flew Rapides. He left EAA in 1951 to join Noon & Pearce Flying Charters and then joined Hunting Clan in the UK and afterwards Sudan Airways. He rejoined EAA in 1960, flying Daks & the new F27s. He retired from EAA in 1964 after a stroke. I have a soft spot for EAA as my very first flight was with my Dad in an EAA Rapide from Wilson Airport.
